摘    要:文章从认知语言学原型理论和隐喻理论视角出发,探讨英语词汇教学实践中如何借助原型理论准确截取词义,构建词汇记忆原型网络,提高识记效率;运用隐喻理论推动词汇的深度教学,发掘词汇文化隐喻内涵,提升学生的交际能力,改善词汇教学。

Abstract:Based on the prototype theory and metaphor theory of Cognitive Linguistics, this paper discusses how to i- dentify lexieal meaning accurately and build lexical prototype network for memorizing effectively under the umbrella of prototype theory. Meanwhile, it explores how to promote the depth of vocabulary teaching and dig out the cultural- loaded knowledge of metaphorical expressions by using metaphor theory so as to enhance English learners' communi- cative competence and perfect vocabulary teaching.
