| Abstract: | English translation of the Chinese subordinate ranks\titles has been in confusion so far,due to the differences between English and Chinese cultures.By making a comparison between English and Chinese cultures,this paper sums up the collocational regularities for the subordinate rank\title signifiers and the equivalents of the Chinese subordinate ranks\titles may be obtained. |
