| 摘 要： | 艰苦的抗战八年,中国经济和社会经历了严峻的考验。本文以战时湖北、湖南后方手工业为研究视角,深入探讨了抗战时期后方手工业勃兴的原因。通过比较两湖后方手工业生产的特点及异同,本文认为,在战时工业品异常短缺的背景下,两湖后方手工业与有限的机器工业互为补充,相互促进,为坚持长期抗战,提升鄂西、湘西山区工业发展水平等方面,均发挥突出作用,从而成为大后方经济不可或缺的组成部分。

| Abstract: | In the eight years during the Anti-Japan War,Chinese economy and society underwent serious adversity and hardships.Focusing on research work about the handicraft industry in rear areas in war time in Hubei and Hunan provinces,this article makes a detailed study on the reasons why the handicraft industry flourished and prospered at that time.The development of handicraft industry in Hubei and Hunan provinces,had much in common though each province had its own distinct features.This comparative study shows that as China was badly in short of manufactured goods or industrial products then,the handicraft industry and the backward,inadequate machinery industry cooperated and incorporated with each other to make further progress so as to carry in the war.The success and achievement of handicraft industry in the mountainous areas in western part of Hubei and Hunan provinces played an important role,and made great contributions for war effort thereby making a necessary part of war time economy in rear areas. |
