浅析大学英语教学中的任务型教学

摘    要:产生于西方语言教学实践的任务型教学在中国大学英语教学应用中存在一定的问题:(1)有些教师对任务型教学的理解不够深入,语言能力不足以承担任务型教学;(2)学生的应试型学习动机和性格特征可能使他们不欢迎任务型教学;(3)部分外部条件不支持等。因此,教师要充分挖掘学生的应试型学习动机的积极意义,设计与应试相结合的交际任务,鼓励学生参与课堂任务;高校的管理部门应该想办法为学生的英语学习创造好的外部环境。

Abstract:This essay explores the deficiencies of the Task-based instruction of college English in China, which developed from the western practice of second language teaching, in the following three aspects: teachers' lack of knowledge and linguistic competency of the TBI; students' boycott of TBI out of exam-oriented motives and shy personalities; and deficiency of external supports. It proposes that the positive side of students' exam-oriented motivations be brought into full play to design proper communicative tasks in an effort to encourage students to participate in the classroom activities. And managerial departments of universities are supposed to create better teaching and learning environments for college English.
