| 摘 要： | 艾略特强调诗歌的客观性、实用性。他关于“传统”、“非个人化”和“客观对应物”的理论都建立在创作客观性基础上。同时,他也强调感觉的作用,强调理智和情感的结合。他的诗是“社会的记录”,具有实用性。他后期的作品充满宗教思想,企图用宗教的伦理道德来净化人的心灵,达到改造社会的目的。

| Abstract: | T. S. Eliot laid stress on objectivity and pragmatism in his poems. His theories about "tradition", "impersonality" and "objective correlative" are all based on the objectivity of literary creation. In addition to objectivity, he also emphasized sense perceptions, the unification of intellect and feeling. His poems are the "records of society". His work in later period was filled tith religious thought. He hoped that he could purify the man' s soul and achieve the purpose of changing the society through philosophical explanation and religious ethics. |
