| Abstract: | This paper gives necessary and sufficient conditions for the center of the automorphism group of matrix algebra over a class of commutative ring to be a trivial subgroup. Furthermore, it is proved that every automorphism of n x n matrix algebra over a principal ideal domain is a mner automorphism. |
