| Abstract: | In his novel Strange Stories from a Lonely Studio,Pu Songling molded a large number of female images.These women are all pure,beautiful,elegant,intelligent,knowledgeable,hardworking,obedient,affectionate,loyal and courageous.They are entrusted with the writer's expectation of women,and they embody his aesthetical ideal and his extraordinary insight and open up the aesthetical connotation of women. |
