| Abstract: | This article is a probe into gender differences in speech acts from the perspective of cultural pragmatics. It tries to reveal how the gender sub-cultural context is built up, how such a context can be an interpretation of gender differences in speech acts, what gender differences are reflected in speech acts, and what conflicts are resulted from these differences. |
