| Abstract: | The new realistic novel is a noticeable trend of creation which came into being in the middle of the 1980s. Its distinctive expression and advocacy of the ideology of the populace exercises great influence on the transmutation of the literary ideas of the new period. The ideology of the populace is shown in 3 aspects: the concern for the survival of the populace by looking straight into life; the order of the populace value from the stand of the country folks; the expression of the ideology of the populace through the language of the masses. |
