运用元认知原理促进非英语专业学生课外自主学习

摘    要:对非英语专业学生来说,他们的课外自主学习往往倾向于工具性动机,自主性差,且课外时间都被浪费掉的现象。本文提出应用元认知理论指导大学生进行课外英语学习,以提高他们处理各种英语信息和英语语言应用的能力,从而促进非英语专业学生英语课外自主学习。

Abstract:Non-English majors tend to have tool motivation and poor autonomy in outside-class autonomous English learning. This paper presents that teachers can use metacognitive theories to guide students to practice their outside-class English autonomous learning effectively, as well as to improve their ability of processing English information and English competence.
