| 摘 要： | 19世纪美国铁路蓬勃发展。在不到一个世纪的时间里，铁路从无到有，形成了世界上规模最大的铁路网。美国铁路建设在建设速度、政府援助、投资方式和发展次序等方面都有其鲜明的特点。，铁路建设促进了美国经济的发展和国内市场的形成，推动了移民西迁和城市化的兴起，并给美国统一和政府职能的转变带来了影响。

| Abstract: | American railway was developed rapidly in the 19th century. In less than a century, the railroad formed the world＇s largest railway network from scratch. It has its own clear characteristics of speed construction, government assistance, investment way and sequence of development. The build of railway in America improve the development of American economy and the establishment of the markets at home. These pushed the westward migration and the rising of urbanization forward and influenced the unity of America and the transformation of the government function. |
