| 摘 要： | 动物词汇及其表达式在英语新闻中十分常见,可以使报道语言鲜活生动,增加稿件画面感和表现力。英语新闻报道中大量使用动物词汇来进行比喻,以引起读者的想象和情感联系。近年来动物词汇动词化用法日益明显,体现了语言的经济性原则和语义增值作用。由于中英两种语言的文化差异,相同动物词汇经常带有不同的文化内涵。随着人类社会的不断发展以及经济活动的日益频繁,动物词汇还被用来指代复杂、深奥的经济现象和金融规律,甚至成为专门的经济术语,被广泛应用于英文报章当中。

| Abstract: | Animal vocabularies and expressions are widely used in English news which have significantly enriched the news language,helping to conjure up a vivid picture in the minds of readers. Animal words are also extensively employed in similes and metaphors and an increasing number of them are applied as verbs. The same animal words often have distinct connotations in different cultures. It is also common for animal words to denote complicated economic phenomena and financial terms. |
