| 摘 要： | 20世纪70年代以来，在西方翻译理论界出现了一套系统的指导和评价翻译实践的理论——功能翻译理论，功能翻译理论强调翻译的目的、翻译者和接受者的角色以及翻译过程中的文化内涵。本文以该理论所涉及到的原则为出发点，试对林语堂先生翻译的《浮生六记》中沈复之妻“芸”的形象塑造做一评论。

| Abstract: | There's a new group of translating theories coming into being since 1970s-functionalist approach,which provides a systematic way of evaluating and directing translation works.The functionalist approach emphasizes the aims of translating,roles of translators and readers,as well as the cultural value.This paper starts from the main principles mentioned by functionalist approach,and intends to analyze a woman character appeared in Six floating chapters of my life,written by Shen Fu in the Qing Dynasty and translated by Lin Yutang,one of the first translators of Modern China. |
