| 摘 要： | 加图<农业志>、瓦罗<论农业>和科路美拉<论农业>是古罗马留给后世的完整的农业著作.作为研究古代西方农业经济的第一手资料,这三部农书弥足珍贵.但这三部农书所记述的内容有限,尤其加图<农业志>只是农事指南性质的书,近现代学者研究古代经济摘引该书的频率极高,不乏对其史料价值的拔高.至于瓦罗和科路美拉的著作,无疑是体现了古代西方农学的成就,其史料价值不容低估.科路美拉的作品超出瓦罗的作品,不仅在农学本身,更重要的在于社会经济史价值.

| Abstract: | The three ancient works On Farming by Varro, On Agriculture by Columella and De Agri Cultra by Gato are the three complete books on farming left to us. As the first hand materials to study the ancient western agricultural economy, they are really valuable. But the contents described in the books are quite limited, especially the book De Agri Cultra by Gato is only a guidebook to farming which is frequently cited by scientists who are studying ancient economy. It can be said that the real historical data value has been exaggerated. When it comes to the works by Varro and Columella, it goes without saying they have embodied the ancient agricultural achievements. And the data values of them cant be underestimated. Columellas book is better than that by Varro in both farming itself and the value of social economic history. |
