| 摘 要： | 近代中国的妇婴卫生事业起步晚，起点低。杨崇瑞博士是在近代社会里成长起果的留芙医学精英，是近代妇婴卫生事业的重要奠基人。她身体力行地推动了我国妇婴卫生事业的近代化，具体体现在创立了第一助产学校，首倡近代助产教育，培养了一批近代助产人才，从而大大降低了近代妇婴的死亡率，卓有成效地提高了近代妇婴卫生事业水平。杨崇瑞博士还是我国近代计划生育理念的重要启蒙者，她认识到节育与妇婴卫生工作密切相关，一方面促进了近代节育思想的宣传，另一方面也对节育工作进行实践指导。她还对近代卫生制度和妇婴卫生机关的建设作出了重大贡献，她在近代中国的妇婴卫生机关担任多种重要职务．促进了中央及地方各级妇婴卫生机关的建立和发展。

| Abstract: | The maternity-child health cause in modern China is comparatively in lower level and starts rather later. Dr Yang Chong-rui, a returned medical student from America, who is grown up in modern society is the pioneer of modern maternity-child health cause. She promotes the modernization of the Chinese maternity-child health cause, reflected in the founding of the first midwifery school, initiating midwifery education and the training of a group of modern midwifery people. These activities have significantly reduced the maternity-child mortality in modern times and effectively raised the level of modern maternity-child health cause. Meanwhile Dr Yang Chong-rui is an important pathfinder of the modern family planning concepts, She recognizes that the work is closely related to birth control and maternity-child health. She promotes the thinking of modern contraception, and also works on practical guidance of birth control. In addition to the outstanding work of midwifery education and birth control achieve- ments, she also makes a tremendous contribution to the building of modern health system and maternity - child health authorities. She serves a lot of important posts in modern China. These all promotes the establishment and development of the central and lo- cal maternity- child health agencies. |
