| Abstract: | This paper explores the feasibility of the application of the communicative approach in our present English teaching. The topic is dealt with in four main parts: 1) the principles of the communicative teaching approach; 2) the necessity of its application in our English teaching; 3) the requirements to the teachers in using the approach; and 4) some problems we face in applying it in our teaching. |
