| Abstract: | Source authentication is a fundamental issue for multicast security and group security.Overlay multicast is an emerged network group communication.In this paper,we present a source authentication scheme for overlay multicast(SASOM) based on the hash chaining and hierarchical transferring,and analyze the security and performance of the scheme. |
