| 摘 要： | 唐玉门关地理位置上具有如下特点：应位于瓠lu河（今疏勒河）南岸,置于遍设烽燧的山峰间,关外西北应有沿线烽燧,关址设在汉长城“昆仑塞”址上,关城为伊吾路（莫贺延碛道,第五道）的起点,距隋唐晋昌城不远,且在敦煌以东三,四天行程处等。据此,可认定该关应位于今甘肃省安西县双塔堡一带。

| Abstract: | A study made on the basis of the many on-the-spot surveys together with repeated reference to related historical litersture and materials, leads to a conclusion that the geographical position of the Yumeu Pass of the Tang Dynasty was characteristic of features as follows: it must be situated to the southern bank of the Hulu River (the Shule River now), lying nestled among screens of mountain peaks with a ange of beacon towers on them, and along the line outside of the Pass should there be beacon towers, too. As to the site where the Pass should have to be, it must have been on the site of "the Kunlun Fortress" in the the section of the Han Great Wall of , with the city wall as the starting-point of the Yiwu Road (the road through the Moheyan Desert, the Fain Road), not far away from JinChang County of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, a distance of three or four dsy's travel to the east of Dunhuang. In view of the above, it should be established that the location of the Pass had to be around Double-Pagoda Fortress village, Anxi County, Gansu Province. |
