| 摘 要： | "政治正确"英语是使用英语的国家历史文化发展的产物,在当前的交际中应用日益频繁。在翻译"政治正确"英语时,译者需要了解其文本的类型,根据文本的特点、要求和交际的目的,按照与时俱进原则、忠实作者原则、读者理解原则,采用新词新译法、新词旧译法、矫正译法进行相应的翻译。

| Abstract: | Politically correct English,the product of the development of the society,history and culture in English-speaking countries,has been increasingly and frequently used in the current communication.When confronting politically correct English,the Chinese translator firstly needs to understand the types of the original text,and then translate it basing on the characteristics of the original text,its communicating requirements and its purpose of communication.While translating politically correct English,the Chinese translator can follow three translating principles mentioned in the paper: advancing with the times,faithful to the writer,understanding principle,and can also apply some translating methods such as translating English new words into Chinese new words,and translating English new words into Chinese old words,correcting over-corrected English words. |
