| Abstract: | Learning a language involves learning the culture from which the language develops. This paper discusses the problem that the culture teaching is separated from the language teaching in college English teaching currendy. Based on the relationship between language and culture, the essay addresses the importance, principles and strategies of cultivating students ＇ cross - cultural awareness in college English teaching. |
