| Abstract: | The author makes a general summary of the E-Resources acquisition experience of Shanghai Jiaotong University Library in the past eight years. Based on a process of surveys, repeated deliberations and consultations, selections, trial, evaluations and selections, it also discusses the importance of the ratio between resource price & property, and the ratio between utilization in the acquisition course. How to keep continuous tracks of the evaluation on all subscribed E-databases should be put into our considerations in order to avoid acting blindly,namely neglecting the price factors, discipline settings, users' needs and etc.. |
