| Abstract: | Network technology is developing rapidly, and various LANs and Internet have greatly expanded our living space. The installation of various new applications brings an increasing burden to the network, and thus poses a higher demand for network in its openness, reliability, safety, advanced technology, easy operation, and expandability. Meanwhile, it also causes more burdens to network maintenance. Therefore, we have to offer better assessment and maintenance to the network system so that it can serve us better in return. This paper analyses the assessment principles and maintenance plan for network communication channel capacity, explains the theoretical source and principal specifications for network mainte- nance, and hence offers a guideline for the operation of network assessment and maintenance. |
