| 摘 要： | 在新中国成立之后至改革开放前,留学教育的发展是我国高等教育对外交流的重要形式。这段时期的留学教育具有交流对象较为单一、派出留学生以学习理工科为主、留学教育价值取向多元等特点。尤为值得一提的是,自1957年之后,与西方国家之间互派留学生使我国恢复了与这些国家的高等教育交流,也为改革开放后留学教育的蓬勃发展奠定了基础。
