摘    要:"发现"是亚里士多德在《诗学》中提及的一个重要概念,是众多戏剧家安排情节和布局结构的重要技巧和手段。莎士比亚在《李尔王》的情节中多处运用了"发现"这一手法,对情节的推动,人物形象的深化以及恐惧和怜悯的悲剧快感的引发等方面都产生了积极作用。美中不足之处在于"发现"的类型较为单一,使得情节缺乏紧促感,在技巧上还有一定的发展空间。

Abstract:Discovery is an important idea mentioned by Aristotle in his Poetics. As a fantastic device to construct plot in a drama, it has been adopted by many dramatists, and Shakespeare is no exception.In King Lear, Shakespeare repeatedly applies discovery, which promotes the plot, deepens the characters and arouses pity and fear in an active way.
