| 摘 要： | 翻译是用一种语言把另一种语言所表达的内容、信息和风格忠实、流畅、艺术地再现出来的实践活动。要做到这一点，从语境，即上下文中把词的根义适当加以延伸，使之既符合作者的意图又符合我们自己语言的表达习惯十分重要。文章试就“译语=词的根义＋上下文”这一简单公式论述翻译必须遵循的灵活性。
