| Abstract: | Cognitive competence reflects language competence and schemata plays an important role in understanding a language. The development and use of language are restricted by thinking. The cognition of the way of thinking in the other culture is essential to cultural recognition. Hence, the importance of imparting cultural recognition is attached to in English teaching. |
