| 摘 要： | 英语阅读课教学的目的是为了提高学生的阅读能力,图式理论指出决定阅读能力的因素有三个：语言、内容和形式。本文通过介绍图式理论以及阅读过程模式,探讨图式理论在英语阅读教学中的应用。

| Abstract: | The teaching purpose of English reading course is to improve students＇ reading proficiency. Schema theory indicates that there are three factors which influence the reading proficiency： linguistic, content and formal schema. This paper focuses on introducing the schema theory, the processes and models of reading, and it explores the application of schema theory in English reading teaching. |
