| 摘 要： | 20世纪初，英美烟公司凭借特权垄断了中国的卷烟市场。河南省的卷烟消费不久就纳入了其垄断的销售网络中，而且河南省中部地区也成为它的烤烟原料基地之一。随着“五州”期间河南反帝宣传和抵制洋货运动蓬勃高涨，英美烟公司在河南的经营活动受到沉痛打击。在此背景下，河南农业传统的种植结构随之发生了变化，民族烟草工业也借机得到了一定的发展。

| Abstract: | British & American Tobacco Co. had monopolized the tobacco market in China in the early of the 20th Century. The tobacco consumption in Henan province was brought into its sale network before long and the middle district of Henan province became one of its important source of raw materials. With the movement of opposing imperialism and resisting the foreign goods rising during the May 30th movement, British & American Tobacco Co. was frustrated. However, the traditional agriculture planting structure of Henan province was changed and the tobacco industry developed to some degree under its influence. |
