| 摘 要： | 乔伊斯最初是一位爱国主义者,积极参加爱尔兰民族自治运动。从1904年开始,他对祖国由爱转向憎,偏重于揭示国人精神上的病疾,并自愿离开爱尔兰,流亡他国。后来,乔伊斯只是作为作家来观察和研究爱尔兰,了解故乡的人事变迁,是为收集写作素材。剖析他与爱尔兰的关系,可以让我们窥测乔伊斯的心路历程,更深入地了解乔伊斯其人其文。

| Abstract: | Joyce ,once a patriot. had engaged in the Irish autonomous movement. From 1904,is love to his nation had changed into hate . He placed weight on the exposure of mental illness of his countrymen. He left Ireland voluntarily and sent himself into exile to Europe. Then, he observed and made research on Ireland just as a writer. To collect materials for his writing, he studied the changes of the human affairs in his hometown. By analysing the relationship between Joyce and Ireland, we can get a deep insight into his heart to know more about him and his works. |
