| 摘 要： | 忠实作为传统的翻译原则被解构了。人们认识到由于个人认知、经验等的不同，再加上文化学派提出的操控因素，做到忠实已不可能或不必要了。然而笔者认为，翻译的本质在于忠实地传达信息。对忠实的追求是维系原文和译文的纽带和桥梁，不能放弃。忠实对文化生态也有积极作用。至于那些为着某些目的使忠实度降低的宽泛意义上的翻译，本着对原文作者和译文读者负责的态度，须明确标出。

| Abstract: | Nowadays, the traditional translation principle of faithfulness is deconstrueted. There is a growing realization that clue to the manipulation advocated by the cultural school as well as the discrepancies of people＇ s cognition and experience, being faithful is beyond reach or even not necessary at all. However,the author believes that the essence of translation lies in the faithful conveyance of the original meaning. The pursuit of faithfulness can not be given up because faithfulness is the on- ly bridge to maintain the source text and the target text. Besides,faithfulness is beneficial to the cultural ecology. As for the broad translation that for some purpose is not as faithful as it could be, the translator should clearly mark things out. |
