| 摘 要： | 迄今为止的中国现代文学史关于林纾及五四新旧思潮的评述都是需要重写的。我们必须摒弃“胜王败寇”的历史书写逻辑，必须摆脱二元对立思维模式的控制。如果说五四先驱是文化上的激进主义者，林纾则是文化上的保守主义者，他们之间是对峙和互补的关系，各有其存在意义。

| Abstract: | This paper is intended to argue for a rewriting of the History of Chinese Modern Literature on Lin Shu and the related ideological reviews in line with the compilation logic of fair play. Namely, history compilers are advised to rid of the ideological domination of binary contradiction. In another word, if the May Fourth pioneers are considered as cultural radicals, Lin Shu is in fact a cultural conservative. Thus, both contradict as well as complement. |
