| 摘 要： | 小说《双城记》中，监狱影像以不同的形式贯穿于全文始终。监狱影像与作者狄更斯的早年生活经历，父亲负债累及家人入狱，英法革命风暴和作者的现实主义思想等有着密切的关系，因而在小说中，莫奈特医生的监狱生活及挥之不去的监狱情节，卡尔登的死，德福格夫人一生心中的仇恨及革命的生活画卷等无不映射了这一主题。

| Abstract: | In A Tale of Two CRies, images of prison reappear in different forms from the very beginning to the end. Images of prison are firmly related to the Dickens＇ early life experiences, such as his family in prison for his father＇ s debts, English and French Revolution and Dickens as a realist. So in the novel, Dr. Manette＇ s life in prison and prison images in his mind, Sydney Carton＇ s death, imprisonment in Defarge＇ s life and turbulences of Revolution all embody the images of prison. |
