| Abstract: | The stratum of city residents and the group of u rban intellectuals a re the two perceptive groups living in big cities,and they are also heroes or he roines depicted of in urban poems.These contemporary urban poems have reflected in a more profound and true way the basic conditions of existence in Chinese cit ies in the last century,and given expression to what Chinese intellectuals have been feeling about cities,feelings too complicated to tell. |
