摘    要:“有教无类”是孔子的教化主张,而未必是他从教实践的表述。以孔子的其他言论和孟子、荀子的见解作为参证,对“教”与“诲”进行辨析,藉以说明“以今度古”的不当。

Abstract:The popularization of education may be said to be the Confucian hypothesis in relation to dissemination of education. But this might not be the case in his teaching practice, judging by his other analects, and quotations from Mencius or Xunzi. Therefore, readers are advised not to take for granted what is popular today is actually true in the past.
