| 摘 要： | 认知语言学认为隐喻是人类用来组织其概念系统不可缺少的认知工具。本文以“over”一词为例就隐喻的运行机制及其在英语一词多义性中的应用进行阐述,讨论了认知语言学中隐喻理论对英语词汇教学的指导作用。
