| 摘 要： | 根据其发展特点，英语标点符号的系统性演变，宜分成萌芽期、发展期、现代标点体系形成期、现代标点体系成熟期和当代标点体系时期五个阶段。15世纪至18世纪末，英语标点符号形成了形式特征明显且书写简便，功能齐备，系统性强的成熟体系。
