| Abstract: | The southern part of Gansu province is one of the birthplaces of the early Chinese culture. It is also connected with the history and legend of Fu Xi, the tribe of Yan Emperor and the forevfathers of the people in Gansu and Shaanxi provinces. There are still a lot of cultural deposits to be explored and studied. The article delves into the relationship between the Immortal Qiu Sheng (Shang Zhou period), Mount Qiu Chi and the mythological legends carried in Lie Xian Zhuan concerning them. This topic has never been touched before. |
