| Abstract: | Many words in Chinese can represent different meanings and enhance the rhetorical effect in a language fragment by way of "Fanxu and Chongdie".This paper presents a discussion on the characteristics and functions of "Fanxu and Chongdie" from four aspects respectively,namely,phonetics,syntax,semantics and rhetoric. |
