| 摘 要： | 林纾与杜亚泉这两个在清末民初具有巨大影响的人物,表面上互不相干,实际上却有着非常密切的关系.杜亚泉在自己编辑的刊物上支持林纾的翻译,开启了林译小说报刊登载的先河,林纤也以自己的翻译给予杜亚泉编辑的刊物以大力支持.同时两人都因保守的态度及中西文化调和的立场受到了五四新青年派的批判,有着相似的遭遇与结局.
