| 摘 要： | 英语教材作为教师传授英语知识的重要媒介，在很大程度上影响着英语教学工作的成效。基于对上海等部分高职院校所使用的现行英语教材的调查，了解高职教材现状，认为编写高职英语教材应遵循应用性、实用性和实践性的原则，并突出其专业特色，在选择教材内容时不仅要考虑教育目标的要求，还要考虑学生走向社会后的实际工作的需要和职业特点的需要。做到实用为主，够用为度，把培养人的能力放在首位。
