| 摘 要： | 18世纪中叶前的西方启蒙思想家对儒家思想的赞赏,其哲学基础和根据是他们所信奉的自然理性概念。在精神领域中,自然理性概念实际只是一种停留在主观意识中的抽象的道德意识。这种道德不是真正的道德,它不知道真正的道德须以自由意识为前提,故这些启蒙思想家对儒家思想的本质和传统中国社会不可能有真正的认识。

| Abstract: | Many philosophers in the Age of Enlightenment appreciated the thought of Confucianism. They thought that the thought of Confucianism is identical with the natural reason. In the field of spirit, the natural reason is practically a kind of abstract moral consciousness. This kind of moral consciousness doesn't know that the real morals is identical with the consciousness of freedom, so that these philosophers could not understand the essences of both the thought of Confucianism and the traditional Chinese society. |
