| 摘 要： | 模糊限制语在商务英语中的应用是一种有趣的语用／话语现象。模糊限制语可以对命题进行修正．可利用语言手段策略达到特殊的交际目的，使言语礼貌、含蓄、语气缓和等。在商务交际中，模糊限制语可具有不同的语用功能。通过使用模糊限制语，能使话语更加得体、委婉、可信、确定或含糊、灵活等，并为他人判断其真值留下空间。

| Abstract: | An interesting pragmatic/discourse phenomenon is the use of hedges in business English. Hedges can be used to modify a proposition, or as a strategy by linguistic means in a certain context for specific communicative purposes, such as politeness, vagueness, mitigation, etc. In business communication, hedges have various pragmatic functions. Through using hedges, we promote the acceptability of the discourse, make the discourse more courteous, persuasive, certain, uncertain, flexible and leave some room for other people to judge the truth value of the assertion. |
