| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to identify and compare the approaches to limiting and reducing GHG currently in place in China and US and discuss how GHG emission reduction might be impacted by the policies of the respective countries. After reviewing scientific data on GHG emissions and global climate change,we review current policies and strategies being pursued by US and China in the effort to reduce GHG emissions. We assess the potential effectiveness of these efforts. |
