摘    要:学生进行英语演讲的难点在于即兴演讲。而即兴演讲是一种最能反映人的思维敏捷程度和语言组织能力的口头表达方式。演讲的成败取决于演讲者的语言能力。因此 ,演讲教学必须是以培养学生的语言应用能力和思维能力为重点组织实施。教师需精心挑选训练教材 ,在模拟场景下组织学生进行高强度的演讲训练 ,才可有效地实现这一教学目的。

Abstract:Impromptu speech is a best way to reflect students thinking swiftness and their linguistic competence. A speakers linguistic and thinking proficiency is of importance to his successful speech. Therefore, class training for students to make impromptu speech is expected to be focused on improving students linguistic and thinking competence. Well selected material with highly intensive training simulated situational contexts could help students achieve this aim.
