| Abstract: | Mr. Zheng Zhenduo,a famous Chinese writer of modern times,a historian of literature ,a book collector and bibliographer and formerly held the post of vice minister of the Ministry of Culture had been in charge of the national library work.In May 10-12,1951,he had sucessively written 3 letters to the Cultural Department of Zhejing province and the Library of Zhejing for the matter of preservation and contribution of 3 distictive private collections.Mr zheng was the man who had done his utmost to save and protect the country's sultural heritage.The Chinese people will cherish the memory of him forever. |
