| 摘 要： | 习语是从语言中提炼出来的短语或短句，是语言的核心和精华。因而也就最能体现两种文化的异同。本文通过分析英汉两种语言中的习语，指出虽然历史源流和表达方式不同，但由于人类的共性，不同语言中的习语具有很多相同特征。掌握这些特征有助于我们更好地理解和使用语言。

| Abstract: | Idiom is a kind of phrase or short sentence refined from language.It is the core and cream of language so that it can reflect the sameness and difference between two kinds of cultures.Through analyzing the idioms in English and Chinese,the thesis reflects that because of the generality of human being,idioms in different languages have some common features in spite of their different historical sources and expressions.Grasping these features of idioms may help us understand and use language. |
