| 摘 要： | 梧桐是中国文学重要的植物意象。在先秦典籍中，梧桐与美好的人格潜息相通，后来发展成人格象征符号。梧桐是上好的琴材，故成为与古琴相关的意象、典故，加上文人操琴寄托心声，琴声的涵义又投射于梧桐。文学中悲秋主题，也与梧桐相联系。梧桐还与爱情有关。佛教传入中土之后，梧桐成为佛门的重要标志物。

| Abstract: | Wutong tree is a key botanical image in Chinese literature.In pre-Qin classics it is unconsciously related to the desirable human character and later developed into the symbol of personality.Wutong makes superb musical instruments,naturally becoming the image and allusion related to guqin(a seven-stringed plucked instrument).And because men of letters play guqin to repose their aspirations,what is implied in the music is in turn projected onto the wutong tree.The motif of autumnal lamentation in literature is also related to wutong;so is love.And after Buddhism is introduced into China,wutong has thenceforth become an important Buddhist symbol. |
