| 摘 要： | 晚清文坛上最为活跃、最有创作实绩的是被称为“谴责小说”的一批职业文人的创作。他们之从事小说创作自然有受到梁启超“小说革命”的启发、影响的一面，但是他们并非是政治家所期许的那种专心于以小说为工具来教化民众的“启蒙者”。从文化性格上来说。他们属于一种“开明的保守派”，“开明”表现为他们都认识到变革的必要性；“保守”则主要体现为以“传统”批判“时代”。

| Abstract: | The most active and successful literal genre is the condemning novel in the literary world of late QING dynasity. They write novels not only enlightened by the novel revolution of Liang Qi Chao, they are not the torchbearer as the politician expected. Their cultural character can be said as enlightened conservatism, enlightened means to say they are all cognizant of the necessity of changing ,conservatism, means they criticize the time by tradition. |
