| Abstract: | This paper use the Peking University Library Catalogue Access Server as an example,expound the main idea and technique gists in the design of server program based on the Client/Server computing model. This article primarily consists of three parts: (1) The introduction of APT system;(2) An overview of Client/Server computing model and RPC; (3) Peking University Library Catalogue Access Server (PUL SER).more detail techniques of server design is presented in part three. |
