3DS MAX中凹凸贴图与置换贴图比较

摘    要:3DS MAX中给建模对象赋予材质时,要表现对象表面凹凸不平的效果,可以用凹凸贴图通道,置换贴图通道两种方法来完成.通过实例来辅助说明并比较这两种方法的利弊和适用范围.凹凸贴图通道渲染速度快,但渲染质量不高,适合于对渲染质量不高或是测试时使用;置换贴图通道会产生很多三角面,所以渲染质量很高,但渲染速度慢,适合于对渲染质量要求较高且机器配置较好时使用.

Abstract:To endue material to modeled objects in 3DS MAX and display bump surfaces of objects, bump map or displacement map are used. Advantages and disadvantages of two map channels are compared and main scopes of application are simply listed in this paper by examples. Bump map's rendering speed is fast, but rendering quality isn't very high. It is suitable for low-quality rendering or for testing. Displacement map channel produces a lot of triangles, therefore the rendering is of high quality, but the rendering speed is slow. It is suitable for high-quality rendering and machines with better configuration.
